In addition to completing my Diploma of Permaculture, I have also participated in some Advanced Permaculture Skills Workshops. One of these was for Actively Aerated Compost Tea Production through RegenAg series of workshops. This Actively Aerated Compost Tea is part of the work of Dr Elaine Ingham.
I did further research and experimentation including the building of a 1,000 litre fermenter. I discovered that the Aerated Compost Tea brewing process can also be adopted to carry out mycoremediation and soil re-mineralisation. This process can negate the use of chemical fertilisers both within small and large scale food production systems.
